Who pays for Prestigious Home Health Care services?
The costs for our service vary on a case-by-case basis. Our agency accepts most private insurances, Medicare Part A and private payments. Call us to see if you qualify.
Is your agency accredited?
Yes, we are accredited by “CHAP”, the Community Health Accreditation Program. CHAP is the oldest national, community-based accrediting body with more than 5,000 agency members nationwide.
How do you qualify your staff members who would be coming into my home?
All caregivers who visit your home go through a rigorous interview and screening process, as well as a background checks and license verification. Our caregivers are regularly supervised and evaluated to insure that you or your loved one is receiving the care and attention they deserve.
What efforts will be made to provide the same caregivers for any particular client?
We believe in consistency of caregivers, and match the client with caregivers who have the competence and compassion to excel in providing the best care for that client. The client, the client’s family, and caregivers will be asked for comments on a regular basis to be sure there is a good fit.
What does being homebound mean?
A patient’s inability to leave the home without the assistance of another person. Also, leaving the home may be so difficult for the individual that it compromises their health or condition.

Are you available 24/7?
Yes. We can provide services up to 24 hours a day and there is always a local on-call manager who can answer your questions and address any concerns after hours. Does your agency handle medical equipment?
Yes. We have contracts with medical equipment companies to handle your medical equipment needs.
Can your agency handle Biohazard waste?
Yes. We are contracted with a biohazard waste company to handle sharp containers and medical waste.
